Safety Improvements for Bohunice V-1 Units 1 and 2

Extended abstract
The paper will deal with safety improvement for the Bohunice V-1 plant with two VVER 440/230 reactors. Unit 1 was commissioned in 1978, Unit 2 in 1980. During the operation, their safety level has been upgraded by modifications of safety related systems. Currently the so called "Gradual Safety Upgrading" is going on.
