Containment Mixing and Natural Circulation

I

Some resource links for containment mixing and natural circulation are given below:

bulletContainment mixing by Peterson  The UC Berkeley thermal hydraulics group currently performs research to develop modeling tools for predicting light water reactor containment pressurization response. The work focuses on the mixing, stratification, condensation, and aerosol transport processes which occur in large containment volumes. Under conditions where jets enter containment volumes, injecting momentum, the volumes can become well mixed, while under conditions where injected momentum is low, stable stratification occurs, as is commonly observed in enclosure fires. Peterson [ A20] generated criteria for when the transition between well-mixed and stratified conditions occurs.
