Preprints The Army High Performance Computing Research
Center provides the opportunity for interested parties to keep
abreast of the latest research being done in the Center through the
AHPCRC Preprint Series. The Preprint Series consists of research
papers written by participating researchers and their colleagues.
Each preprint is duplicated and bound for convenient referencing and
is is available upon request. This database contains preprint titles
and abstracts. Full preprints are only available in hardcopy form. |

citations and abstracts of research publications authored or
co-authored by Goddard Institute
for Space Studies and affiliated scientists during the last two
decades, with emphasis on papers published during the 1990s. GISS
Publications On-Line (GPOL) is a member of the NASA
Technical Reports Server (NTRS). On-line copies of about
130 papers are also linked. "PS" or "PDF" links
indicate a Postscript or Acrobat copy of the paper which may be
downloaded directly from the GISS website. "Go to Paper"
indicates a link to another website which provides a complete copy
of the paper. |

freeWAIS-sf-2.1.2 and this web interface is courtesy of
SFgate-5.111. For more information on how to form your search terms,
please read Formulating
a Query. You can search for pdf to get a list of all
documents we have available in electronic (Adobe Acrobat .pdf)
format. Just entering a word or phrase to search for in the
input area above will search for that word or phrase in several
fields: Title, Author, Abstract, and Key Words.

Current
Aerospace
Notices Selected Current Aerospace Notices (SCAN)
is an electronic current awareness journal, published twice monthly
that brings to your attention recently issued report and journal
literature pertaining to aeronautics and aerospace research. SCAN
covers the full spectrum of aeronautics and aerospace information,
but segments it into subject groupings or topics, which are narrower
in scope than those provided by Scientific and Technical Aerospace
Reports (STAR). Furthermore, SCAN announces documents simultaneously
in all relevant topics. Document citations announced in STAR are
presented in only the one subject category deemed most appropiate. |

It is created by collecting the responses given by many people in
this newsgroup. Thanks to these people who are actually the creators
of this list. All the books listed below are in reverse
chronological order. Please notify me if there is any correction
needs to be made for this list, or if you know the ISBN number(s)
for any books indicated in this list. This list was originally
compiled by Robert Chong (chong@infinet.com), and is now being
maintained by Wayne Christopher (wayne@icemcfd.com). Please send all
suggestions and updates to Wayne.

 | Computational
Gasdynamics,
CFD
Books Here is a list of books I recommend for those
interested in computational gasdynamics. I have used the author's
own words, as they appear in the preface or back cover, to describe
each book. I have also included a brief description of my own, plus
content comparison charts at the bottom of the page. The books on
this list are all quite different in content and basic conception.
The requirements for inclusion on this list are as follows:
computational gasdynamics must be an integral part of the book; the
book must be in my personal collection; the book must be in print;
and the book must have a degree of merit. The requirement for
substantial computational gasdynamics content explains the omission
of books such as Ferziger and Peric, Roache, and others mainly
preoccupied with viscous and turbulent flows. I have omitted edited
collections and literature surveys. However, along these lines, some
may find the annual von Karman Institute lecture
series monographs helpful. For a more complete list of CFD and
fluids books, click here.

Text This is a work in progress (for over 6 years!).
Starting in 1997, the material is being made available
electronically using a hybrid html/acrobat approach. It appears most
practical to provide a top page in html, while allowing students to
download individual sections as Adobe Acrobat files. The emphasis is
on subject mater, and not the multimedia framework. I have not yet
been able to devote the time required to produce a modern electronic
document. Also, some equations and figures may not print perfectly.
Much of the material was created before the current methods and
standards existed. The entire outline is provided, although not all
sections are available for download yet. In some cases copyright
permission has not been obtained for figures, and thus, some figures
are not yet available. Chapters and Appendices will be added as they
are available. |

foremost source of scientific and technical aerospace information is
available online or on CD-ROM anywhere in the world. Updated
monthly, the Aerospace Database online is perfect for monitoring
aerospace markets in other countries, gaining access to the work of
international aerospace leaders, staying abreast of new products and
trends, and keeping up with emerging technologies. Used by aerospace
professionals worldwide, it contains abstracts of journal articles,
conference papers, books, and technical reports (including reports
issued by NASA, other U.S. government agencies, international
organizations, universities, and private industry). You'll find more
than 35 years of in depth coverage of aerospace and related
sciences—more than two million references in all.
